Anime Zone - Week One - Bakuman
Bakuman is a romance/comdey/school/shonen anime which is spread over 3 seasons with 25 episodes each, so this anime is about two middle school students Moritaka Mashiro and Akito Takagi who both aspire to be manga artists but it was not always like that, when Mashrio was younger, he loved spending time with his uncle who was a well known manga artist, and Mashrio wanted to be like his uncle, Mashrio was always a good artist, winning compatitions when he was younger and that gave him confidence that he would one day be like his uncle but that changed when something tragic happened, when Mashiro's uncle died, he said he'd given up on the idea on becoming like his uncle after that untill one day he meets Takagi who uses Mashrio's secret to try and get him to draw the manga that hes writing.
Thats about all I can say on the anime with out spoiling it too much, now on to why I think you should give it a try. For one, I think its quiet an underrated anime as I don't see alot of people talking about this anime, but I think that this anime deserves more than that as the stories not for most people due to not alot of action and that could turn people off quite alot but it has a great story and really good character development over the span of 75 episodes. The romance is good, not your average romance story in the terms of boy meets girl, great comedy and like I said romance is different and could just melt your heart so just give it a try if you want and if not then thats okay.
